Brief Description: Control tubes, left wing skin and aileron riveting
In the morning I completed the attachment of the rod ends for the aileron push tubes. In the afternoon my brother Bernie came over and we started by riveting on the left wing top skins, see image 1. Once the top skins were on we attached the fuel tank also. After a break for dinner we riveted together the left and right aileron, see image 2. After Bernie's departure I removed the left wing from the assembly fixture and placed it in the storage cradle, see image 3. Once in the storage cradle I riveted on the aileron hinge brackets and the aileron gap fairing. All in all a very productive day.
